I lead design teams that improve their practice while delivering great work.

I am currently augmenting my professional experience as an MBA candidate through the Questrom School of Business at Boston University.

Previously, I have worked on location and remotely as an individual contributor and manager for scaling startups such as Creative Market, (acquired by Dribbble), Renovate America, LivingSocial, and CustomInk.

As a consultant, I worked as an individual contributor, locally or remotely, for companies such as Metjive, EightShapes, AKQA, the Mag7 Collective, and Wunderman. Clients included AARP, VideoBlocks, Tivvy, Yahoo!, George Washington University, and more.

I have experience building and managing teams that operate in user research, product strategy, and interaction design, especially in eCommerce and FinTech.

Here’s a resume.

Here’s a portfolio of past work.

With every team, I focus on three things:

Craft: Facilitating and supporting an evidence-based design process; assuring we execute at the highest level by leveraging research, collaborating with stakeholders; and refining our work through objective-based critique.

Infrastructure: Keeping everything that supports the craft operational; the working environment, design tools, and the methodology artifacts.

Personal development: A commitment to helping my team use that time for growth through personal objectives and new challenges.
